It looked like this all day and was pretty perfect.

the breakfast club

this summer i witnessed one of the worst things that has maybe ever happened to me. i went to a drivers ed course with my best friend and i was convinced i was in the breakfast club.

honestly it was nothing like that but you know you gotta do what you gotta do.

school started back.

we  went camping.

i bought some pumpkin colored mittens.

i'm going to see edward sharpe and the magnetic zeroes on monday.

i like singing really loud in the bathroom.

i wear black nail polish now. its a thing

i eat kale like ice cream.

i'm listening to fionn regan right now and he's like a great good.

i wear a watch that doesn't work.

i read the fault in our stars. i cried

i really want a kitten.

i should probably get off my butt.

as of right now:

i am lying in bed looking like a chipmunk because i  got my wisdom teeth out thursday. watching the first season of friends and drinking iced coffee and eating lots of ice cream but really all i want is popcorn which i cant have. 

but other than that annnnnd the fact that i had to go to a drivers ed course in decatur summer has been great.

nothing over the top but simple and great.

well i've got to say that the past couple of weeks i have had the BESTTTTTT luck with thrift stores!!!

how have ya been?

its been quite a long while.

i cant wait to stay and chat for 3 months! 

i bet you {whoever YOU may be} couldn't tell but today was the last day of school. it was bitter sweet. ya see this little school is such a big part of me and were all one big family. its my community and as happy and relieved i am to be ALL DONE i'm also going to miss it. you get me? alright cool.

HEY! sooooooo i got some maxi skirts at the thrift store monday! its a big deal.

i cant really say i've been busy because i haven't. i mean not really. i guess kinda. but not busy enough not to sleep or eat or well use the computer. 

lately i've been thinking a lot about different things and questioning myself on my beliefs and friendship and family and the way i approach people and the way i talk to people and self confidence and beauty. 

theres been a lot going on in the o'l  brain of mine. you get me? 

just with everything in the world that happens everyday but just being more aware of it. makes me rethink all my "troubles" and how really there not that bad compared to most everything thats happening in the universe. i have food and family and a school and friends and clothes. life's pretty solid for this chick and i want to show my love better and approach things better. 

because sometimes your grandpa  reads your blog and see's that you love a pair of shoes that are utterly expensive and he calls you up and says pick out any pair you want on me.

and thats  kind and thoughtful and everything happy and good.


point being, i wish the little things that make me cry for a long time didn't make me cry. because there are really good things happening around me and i want to be more aware i show my affection for it better. you get me?

i've been crocheting a blanket. 
i got blue nail polish.
schools almost over.
i got a sun burn.
i helped work a vintage pop up shop with some good friends.
i cut my own hair. 
which was a very bad idea.
so then i got it fixed.
and now its short.
and i love it.
i got a denim dress with stars on it.
my brothers made a fort.
i've been drawing more.
we got a coffee maker.
i've been wearing stripes.
wich kinda make me look like i'm in jail.
but i like it.
